Typhoon Dodong (International Name: Noul) is now upon the Philippine island. Dodong has a maximum sustained winds of 160 kph near the center, with gusts of up to 195 kph, and heavy to intense rainfall within its 300-km diameter.
As of this afternoon, public storm warning signal no. 3 is raised in Cagayan, Isabela and northern Aurora. These provinces are at risk of heavy damage to high-risk structures.
Signal no. 2 is raised in Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands, Apayao, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Nueva Vizcaya, Ifugao, rest of Aurora, Polillo Island, Catanduanes and Quirino. Meanwhile, signal no. 1 is hoisted in Batanes, Abra, Ilocos Norte, Benguet, Nueva Ecija, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay and Sorsogon.
